Max von Mockern is a striking looking 2 year old German Shepherd. This handsome big lug has already come so far while at Westside and is eager to find that right home to continue to grow his skills. He has learned how to walk politely on the leash. He knows to stay next to you and not to get distracted by his surroundings. He also knows that it’s sometimes best to ignore other dogs when they cross his path. What hasn’t changed about Max is that he continues to be one giant love bug. He loves to be around people and get affection. He listens to you attentively, especially after you call him a good boy. Off leash, Max has figured out how to stay out of trouble, but he still prefers to be around dogs that match his calm demeanor and that give him his space. Max is looking for a home that will provide him with both cuddle sessions and training sessions. Actually combining the two works best for him because he wants to continue to learn, especially with the doggie manners that he has already come so far with and does not want to forget.
